Red Dual-Purpose
We sell a red, dual-purpose, meat and egg laying chicken, the Hubbard JA57 Ki.
It will typically begin laying eggs around 19 to 20 weeks of age and over the course of its life will average 3 to 5 eggs per week.
Because of the dual-purpose nature of this breed, it does have a propensity to put on added weight, so weight management can be a factor in the quantity and size of the eggs it produces.
